I keep BUILT deliberately small, just me, because that's what lets me hold the standard as high as I want it. There's no handoff to someone less experienced while I move on to the next job. You get consistent, hands-on workmanship from start to finish, on every job, every time.

When the person quoting your job is the same person building it, there's no miscommunication between office and site, no corners cut to hit a margin someone else set. I know exactly what was promised, because I'm the one delivering it.

A particular love for character homes

I have a real passion for renovating colonial homes, villas, and bungalows. With these projects, getting the details right matters just as much as the structural work, so I make it a priority to keep new work in keeping with the character of the existing home, sourcing or having componentry made to match what's already there, rather than settling for something close enough. It's this attention to detail that keeps a character home feeling like itself, even once the renovation's done.

For bigger jobs, I bring in a trusted network of subcontractors who know the standard I expect and are always keen to work with me. So even on larger builds, you're still getting the same level of oversight and quality control, just backed by the right people when the scope calls for it.
